SharePoint online Site Settings/Site Permissions vs. Site Contents/Site Permissions different result
Can anyone explain why SharePoint online Site Settings/Site Permissions and Site Contents/Site Permissions have different results?
Site Contents/Site Permissions has:
Site Owners, Site Members and Site Visitors(With People in the visitors group)
Where Site Settings/Site Permissions has Inheritance removed and only has an Edit and Owners group, no visitors group, where are the visitors stored?

In Group connected sites, the permissions are setup in Azure AD security groups. New users are added to Azure AD security groups. This by design...Site Settings/Site Permissions is the classic way to get to site permissions on the SPO Site while Site Contents/Site Permissions is the modern way

I understand that, but the results don't always match, users added the new way are not always added to the legacy groups, that's what I am asking about.
