SharePoint Online. Site questions.

My answers bellow:
1) From the SPO Home page you can only create modern Team Sites or Communication Sites. From the SPO Admin Center you have two choices:
1.a) Use the Old SPO Admin Center that does not provide the ability to create a modern SPO Team Site or a communication Site. In this Old SPO Admin Center, any modern SPO Site or communication site is not displayed by design
2.a) Use the new SPO Admin Center that allows you to create both kind of sites and also classic ones. In the new SPO Admin Center modern SPO sites and communication sites are shown.
2) I have already answered this in my answer to 1)
3) No, Office 365 Groups are only created when you choose the modern team site template. When you create a Communication site, a Group is not created
4) Group Membership and SPO security are different things...when you add a user as owner in the SPO site, you are not adding him/her as owner in the Group if you are using the site security configuration...however, if you are adding him/her in the Office 365 Group as owner, he/she is becoming an owner in the site

Thanks Juan. So let me see if i have this straight:
1) using the classic SharePoint admin center, i am only able to create classic sites.
2) When i go to this site: https://gtcsftw.sharepoint.com and create a new site whether it be Teams or Communication, it shows up in the default URL https://gtcsftw.sharepoint.com/site/sitename, but it does not show up in the Classic Site Display.
3) Office 365 Groups are only created for modern Team sites and not for communication sites.
4) I now understand the relationship of office 365 groups and owners.
Thanks for the clarification on modern sites vs old classic sites. That helps me to follow along in my documentation some of the directions apply to classic and modern sites respectively.
