Sharepoint online project subsite task list

I have a dynamically populated List on my SharePoint online site and I would like to use some of the data  from that list to auto-populate a project task list i have setup on another page so i can create a list of items to create a Gantt chart. I can't for the life of me figure out how to connect the 2 and bring across the data. 

Can this even be done?
