SharePoint Online Permissions

Hi Everyone

I am trying to grant user access to a SharePoint online list. The list has the following settings:

- Item Level Permissions is enable
- Users are granted Edit access to the list

When an item is added to the list, a Power Automate flow runs to stop sharing the item and grant view access to specific users.

However, this doesn't work because the users are still not able to view the records after
the flow runs.

But, when I grant Design access to the same users instead of Edit access as specified above, then the users can see the records in the list when the flow runs.

However, we don't want to grant users Design Access because it gives them access to other settings that they should not access like advanced settings.

Is there a way to handle this issue differently?
