Sharepoint Online is unavailable (500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR)

Our Sharepoint Online environment (ADA-ICT1.sharepoint.com) is unavailable.

It suddenly states the message: 

500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

 Did I miss a message regarding updates or is the a system wide issue?
