SharePoint Online, HUB site, post news link, error message

Hi,

 

Getting this error message when I´m trying to post a News Link in the News web part for a HUB site.

 

Fig. 1:  Something went wrong - Error message.

Fig. 2: In site content: News link Site page checked out.

Fig. 3. Message when trying to open the Site page.

 

Any ideas on what causes this?

    I had same issue.
    In my case, I had to specify URL that must less than 255 characters.

      Still have the same issue. Have not been in contact with support yet.

    Unfortunately I think you may be in Microsoft Support Territory.

    A few troubleshooting ideas:
    1. Try adding a link not on your SharePoint instance
    2. Test it on another site or site collection
