SharePoint online External Invitation Issue

Hi to everyone,
I am facing an issue on external invitation on SP site, I have created a flow that will send the external user an invitation to the SP site, the external user accepted the invitation and in the portal I can see the user accepted the invitation, But the external user is unable to access the site, why?
More Info:
I have added the user in the site's visitor group, external sharing is also enabled

When external users struggle, we ask them to Clear their browser cache following key steps - close out of everything and Quit Teams - not close, but Quit. Open only one browser page, then clear cache. Restart.

"When in doubt, clear it out" ;-)

We also suggest to try InPrivate or InCognito. These have helped many users who have struggled.

One other thing, we typically will provide a separate link to the site or library so they can use that in the future as the initial email is an invitation link.

  • Hi Alifaraz

have you inherited the site permissions to pages and other elements on the site? Or have you broken the permissions on pages?

Have the external user access to other elements on the site, when you use a direct url to the library?

Check the library and homepage permission.

    Best, Dave

There could be many reason, user might have accepted the invite with personal Microsoft account but when they accessing sharepoint it tries to authenticate with Office 365 account in their org.
user may be using different account for email and Office 365, in which they invited and shared to email id but their account should be registered with O365 id.
