SharePoint Online Document Library access really slow (practically froze)

How many documents are stort there? do you use modern or classic? are you using groups functions?
On the document library are stored 1.300.000 items form 1.2 T.B. of data.
It is the default Site of the O365 Tenant domain.sharepoin.com
A case has been already opened but right now MS support really slow compared with our experience on Google.
