Sharepoint Online columns

Hallo,

I am learning Sharepoint Online, and I am sorry if I ask perhaps stupids questions :)

I need a new Site with 3 columns. I open ma new page and I insert 3 columns.
I need one for a welcome webpart ("Welcome Andreas" for exemple), one for news and one for "buttons" of applications that I need (Outlook, Teams, One Drive...).

How can I set the width of my columns? Is it possible?

Thanks a lot for your help (and sorry for my so bad english, I hope you understand what I mean)

  • Andreas...There is a way to do this with jQuery/CSS but it's tough to implement.  By default the column width is roughly the same size as the column name.  In a modern library you can resize the column but it's not persistent between page view.

      Hi,

      thanks for your Answer.
It is perhaps a feeling, but I think that Sharpoint 2016 (or 2013) was better as the Sharepoint Online... or not?
With Sharepoint Online you can't configure all, as with a installed version of Sharepoint :(
