SharePoint Online Carousel Images - Remove Borders

Can someone tell me how to get rid of the borders on either side of the image in a Carousel (Image Gallery - SharePoint Web Parts)?  I have resized all the images to the same to 1920 x 1080 according to MS docs.  Still getting the border.  Only 1 of the 5 images displays correct.
