Juan is correct, you cannot. However, you can easily utilize flow to send an e-mail based on a trigger to a DL.
Hi Chris , I haven't migrated my email to the cloud as yet and therefore flow wont help me at the moment. I am trying to create a notification via alerts which looks like wont work. Just wondering if there was any other way of notifying groups of users when a document has changed ?ChrisWebbTech
Jmcguk Even though you haven't migrated your mail yet, try using the 'Mail' action from PowerApps in your flows. I've been using that action instead of an Outlook action to send emails and it seems to work. Not sure if it will work with a distribution list name but it will email to anyone.
