SharePoint Online Alerts
I'm a site admin for a SharePoint Online site and wondering if there is a way to disable the list alerts? So, in this particular List, I'm considering to add more metadata, but many users have alerts...

I have looked into this article, but I'm little hesitant to make these changes as not sure if it would actually disable the alert notifications.
- The people not in the alerts list could be getting alerts from flow.
