Sharepoint Online & Silvelight
We have some pages in SPO where we have embedded Office Online docs. Now on these sites users who are using IE11 will get prompt that their Silverlight is blocked because it is out of date. The embedded document is showing. So which features in SPO still rely on Silverlight plugin? Is SPO first trying to render the embedded doc with Silverlight in IE11 but then fallback to some other technology?

- How are you embedding the documents? AFAIK, Silverlight should not be required for SPO anymore

I thought so too, but still IE11 is somehow relying on Silverlight. But it is strange because the embedded document is rendered and visible even though IE11 throws the notification bar that Silverlight is outdated.
We copy the embed code by opening docs first in Powerpoint Online and then embedding the code to another page with script web part.

Also the preview of PPT document is throwing the Silverlight prompt. Strange enough is that preview of Word document does work and no Silverlight prompt! I'll open a support case with Microsoft.
