SharePoint Modern View take 2 attempts to run any actions

When in a SharePoint modern list it take 2 attempts to open a record or edit a record, need to click twice, ie. Right click on row, select More / Workflow nothing happens and when I do it again it works, this is now starting to happen on multiple sites and not limited to me, a number of users are getting the same issue.  Is there a setting I am missing??
