SharePoint modern list view not displaying items
Hi
I hope you can help me.
I have a SharePoint site with multiple lists, which are all using the Modern list view.
A few days ago one of the modern list views aren't displaying items, even though there are more then 60 items in the list. If I switch to classic view all my items are displayed in the view.
Best

We have just found a solution to this issue that was affecting some users. It seems they were only seeing synced items not the whole lot.
If you turn off List settings -> Advanced -> Offline Client Availability this seems to solve it.

"turn off List settings -> Advanced -> Offline Client Availability"
This fixed the issue for me. Thank you! I was having some users able to see some list items, some of the time. Very inconsistent. Lists worked normal for users in classic mode and in modern mode if it was an incognito or private window. But was all messed up in modern mode in a normal browser window.

Has any solution or explanation been found? I have a similar issue which is driving me more insane than normal.

I am also looking for a solution. I have the same issues in my document library. Documents are there when view is on all documents but when I want to refine the results, documents are not found. (1 instead of 12/13 show up). A few weeks ago everything worked.

Also a problem here. I have list, with 5 different views. 4 of them only have to bring back a small % of the list and show correctly, but for some reason the main view which should be bringing back thousands, is always stucked a 3977. I've dropped all data in the list and repopulated it but the problem remains.
I can see there is over 6000 items in the list but the view should show the first 5000 (based on indexed column).

The reason for this is becuase there is a JSON programming within a list column that is no coded correctly. This is the way of the system saying that there is an error in the JSON formula. To fix the issue, go to the column settings for the column that has JSON formatting and review the formula or erase it. Once the formula is correct or erased, it will show the list in the modern view.
- Espie20Copper ContributorI tried this several times on different lists but it didn’t work.

I'm having the same experience. So frustrating

I put in a ticket with Microsoft and they had to take a field that was required, change it to not required and then back and that worked. they couldn't really give me a why but it worked.

Did they let you know which field it was? How did you open the ticket?
- Alexandra GonzalezCopper ContributorWhere you able to find answers to this issue?

Hi Alexandra
No, we sadly didn't find an answer to this issue.
The solution has been abandoned in favor of a newer version.
If you are experiencing the same issue, I hope you find a solution.
- Pontus StrindlundCopper ContributorHei Thomas. If you create a modern page, and add the Document Library (preview) web part. Are you having issues with the web part not 'remembering' what view it should use, and falling back to the default view? We have this issue as well. Might be related.

I started having this issue today. Any luck fixing it?

I wish it was that. there was no issue with the JSON it worked for a good week then this issue. Microsoft basically said the list got corrupt some how, didn't have anything to do with JSON. once i change required to not required and back it work. JSON was never changed.

Sadly no, the problem persists in the "modern" layout.
Where using the "old" SharePoint 2013 layout, and here there's no problem.

Have you tried to edit the current view for columns and see if it displays any list items.

Hi SPO Admin
I've tried to edit the current view, and have even created a new view to see if this would help, which it hasn't...
- This is very weird...have you opened a support case?

Hi Juan
No, I haven't opened a support case yet, but that might be the solution.
Thanks for your reply.
