SharePoint Migration
our requirement: If we have migrated one folder to SharePoint then how it will sync the changes.
The SPMT is pretty good once you have the format of the .CSV/JSON file in place.
However, as others have said it will not 'sync' files (so changes made on the Fileserver location will not automatically copy the changes to the SharePoint site).
Using the tool, you would need to do (scheduled) Incremental copies. These aren't automatic, unless you try something with Windows Task Scheduler. You can save the migration tasks to resume for an incremental copy.
If possible, I'd recommend to 'lock' the network drive folders to Read-only access once the files have been copied - but check with the data owners. If you do this, check there are no Excel files with linked spreadsheets as these will not work (well) on SharePoint. They also need the network folders to be 'write' access.
Otherwise Metalogix have tools to copy content from fileshares and SharePoint sites (to copy lists, libraries or folders etc). A good (but not free) option: https://www.quest.com/products/metalogix-content-matrix/

Just a comment to update about Microsoft's migration tools.
Microsoft acquired Mover back in October (link below)
You may notice on the SharePoint Online Admin menu, you'll now see 'Migration' with three options:
- Migration manager
- Desktop tool (SPMT) (this will give you the option to download the existing SPMT)
- Cloud content migrations
The tools are outlined https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointmigration/migrate-to-sharepoint-online - I suspect more detailed documentation will follow.
