Sharepoint metadata and Word
I have a sharepoint library with several columns for metadata. These are NOT mandatory fields. BUT when i edit the document Word seems to think they are mandatory. Anyone seen this?

Steps to reproduce
1. add custom SP property to document
2. fill in anything in field
3. remove "anything" from field
4. observe field error message

A temp fix is to go to properties in word and add and remove text from the field until the red warning box goes away.
