SharePoint list with "Multiple lines of text" column not displaying entries
Hello All,
Our lists that utilize "Multiple line of text" type are not displaying entries and come up blank.
Example column definition:
Symptom:
Expecting "Line 1" and "Line 2" in View Entries.
I've opened a support request with Microsoft.
Is anyone else experiencing this behavior? Any workarounds or fixes?
Thanks all!
Norm

I mean Lists are the backbone of the cloud ''file system'' for Office in the Cloud, you'd think they'd have fixed the bugs from 2019, not to mention 2009. I fought the tech so much setting up a simple community resource directory that I moved away from using Sharepoint and cie at all for this endeavor. I'm a harm reduction counselor these days, with a professional background as a game and software developer,... Imagine your average worker bee trying to embrace those technologies: Search not being available for anonymous read only usage boggles the mind, the Rich text column silly decision where append doesn't mean what everyone in and out of tech expects is just ludicrous..
The fact we still use a lot more paper than before the IT revolution really says everything.
Have a good one !

Hi jcgonzalezmartin,
Agreed, MS support is the way to go. They "fixed" the issue and it seems to be working now. Still waiting to hear what the root cause was.
Thanks for the reply.
