SharePoint List Search does not return result
Hey guys, I have problem searching for list record on my SharePoint. I have verified the search setting - it's enabled (list level & site settings), Tried re-indexing the list as well, none works. Any master can advise what can I try next?
Settings:
List Settings > Advanced Settings
Site Settings > Search

simonlee1_991 Some times the stupid trick works like charm. Try disable search on site. click ok.
After few minutes enable search on site. This worked many times in my experience.
Also hit once on reindex site.simonlee1_991 I just created a new item in our SharePoint list --> Reindexed the list & tried search for list item after 2-3 minutes and it is working fine for me:
- Check if there are any hidden spaces between two words
- The Client name column is a custom column you created or SharePoint default Title column?
- Is this issue for this single list on your SharePoint site or for all lists in your site? Try creating a new list and see if it works (just to narrow down the issue).
