Sharepoint list new column choice checkboxes doesn't add checkboxes
I've added a new column to my list and selected Choice and Checkboxes (allow multiple selections). However, when I open up the list form it displays this as a dropdown select list. How do I change it to checkboxes?

- Hi, jellybeancooper To resolve the issue of checkboxes not being displayed in a SharePoint list column with the "Choice" data type, ensure that the column settings are correctly configured, choices are defined for the column, and the list view settings are properly set. - Hi, they are configured correctly. It seems that this issue is occurring because I'm using Modern SharePoint, which doesn't have checkbox options. However, you can still select checkboxes when going to list settings. When you add a column via the list view it doesn't have the checkbox option. I'm not sure when they depreciated this feature. I've posted a feedback comment to Microsoft regarding this inconsistency.
