SharePoint List conditional serial number

Hi,

 

I would appriictate if anyone helped me with a way to deal this conditional serail numbering (daily sl #)

 

In SharePoint lists, I have 2 columns. 

 

1st column is a list of dates. there could be repeating of the same dates. The 2nd column is the serial number (for date)

 

Every time date changes to new date, the serial # resets to 1.

 

 

Kind of like daily serial numbers. new date, the serial number need to restart again.

    Hi cad-one,

     

    How about using a Power Automate Flow for updating SOS Pre 3 column?

    Flow could be triggered when new item is added to a list, get count of list items filter by Received date and update SOS Pre 3 column with count of returned list items.
