Sharepoint intranet site URL

Hi we are using the latest SharePoint hosted on office 365. I've built a SharePoint intranet site by purely winging it.  Is there a way, other than using a dns redirect to create a friendly name for a the site. as currently it looks like this https://111111111111111111111111979.sharepoint.com/sites/RHAIntranet (characters replaced by 1 to hide actual path) 

im not sure it can be done other than a dns redirect. Is there an expert here that can confirm this please?
