Make sure you have Global Navigation enabled and I have mine set to "Hub or Global Navigation", then you need to use the Edit Global Navigation link.
Then I did have to manually add all the site links to the "Edit Hub Nav" list, no associated sites were automatically added.
Using the "Associated Hub/child sites" seems to have the reverse effect to what I was expecting based on the wording.
- SA-KRPAug 28, 2024Copper ContributorYes, it is working now, sorry forgot to update here.
Think it was just a matter of waiting 24+ hours.
Also noticed "changes" made to a SharePoint page, themes, colors, etc are really don't appear to changes but rather a mask over the default view, at least that is what I have seen for myself and other staff.
What we often see is a page will load and for an instant the colors or theme changes appear as the default then very quickly it updates. At first I thought I was imagining it but it happens all the time on the same computer/browser.
Another thing we see is menus or other changes that have been there for weeks will be gone or reverted visually and an F5 will resolve it, eg Quick launch menu, news articles missing, etc.
Kind of sad MS is playing that game, it used to be if you changed something it was actually changed.- pfartOct 21, 2024Copper Contributor

I agree, their attitude seems its "Full speed ahead' with THEIR ideas (which seem to be from inexperienced employees) and "Darn the Customers".
Microsoft has always had its problems--as all companies have--but nothing like their lack of responsiveness and concern for customer needs who are simply trying to use their products in a production environment.
