SharePoint File Viewer web part does not display ScreenTips from PowerPoint or Visio

- Unfortunately, the ScreenTips feature in PowerPoint, Visio or PDF files is not supported in the File Viewer web part in SharePoint modern pages. To display pop-up information when hovering over a shape, you may need to create a custom web part or use third-party add-ons. It's also possible to embed the original file in an iframe and use JavaScript to add the hover functionality.
Ok, thanks Adnan, that's kind of what I thought, just wanted to be sure there wasn't some other non-custom or 3rd party add-on way to do it. I've explored some of these other options as well, but either the cost is prohibitive for our use, or my skills are not that advanced (yet). 😉 Thanks for confirming!
Yes that 3rd party options would add extra cost and time effort.
