SharePoint Events Web Part - Change Default View

As a simple workaround, you could always add a quick link above or below it the web part with a modified URL from 'Events.aspx', like this (you will need to open your own 'See all' to get the guid): Events.aspx?ListGuid=d7b38921-3n2s-4420-bf3f-560cd9cee259&Category=&StartDate=2023-01-01&EndDate=2023-12-17&AudienceTarget=false

If you'd like to see the events for the previous year, you could create a separate webpart using the 'Date range' filter. It gives the option to view events by the coming quarter. You could use the 'static' dates 'From' and 'To' to look 'backwards', but at least it will present events from a previous date range. I'm looking into how to do this via the url query string.

Hi Andrew - I was having this same problem and your suggestion worked a treat for the first month. However, given the link has a start date, it now shows all the old events. Do you have any other great ideas on how to get around this (aside from updating the link every month!). Thanks!
