Sharepoint Employee Directory shows future hires
We use Sharepoint for our Corporate Directory wherein we bring the Employee information from AD.
Unfortunately, all our Future hires start showing up in Sharepoint as soon as they are created in AD.
We create them in AD early for access provisioning and since there is a sync with AD, they start showing up immediately.
This is a problem for us as we don't want Future Hires to show up in our Corp Dir (Sharepoint)
How do other Customers manage this? How do they ensure that Future Hires do not show up in Sharepoint?

SamPatel007 We had a similar issue but we're a hybrid company and just didn't sync our hires until the day before they joined. If you disable their account, do they still show up?

The only thing we do is not create the AD account until about a week or 2 before the new employee's first day.
We have no problem with a new employee's information being seen in advance of their first day.

C_the_S Thanks for the response. The problem we have is at times we have Executives or high profile folks joining the company where the message has not gone out to the general population and these folks automatically start appearing in the Corp Dir.
It is also a problem for regular employees where a manager is being replaced etc. and now the new manager suddenly starts showing up 1 - 2 - 3 weeks in advance.
I was just hoping to have something which would show the Employees as of their hire date.
