Sharepoint Document Library folder Recovery

I'm sure you can understand though when I am looking at implementing a new product (Like SharePoint Online) it looks terrible on said service that I have to go away to look at third party products to do something simple like restore multiple files?
SharePoint Files Restore will be rolling out in the near future. It's similar to OneDrive's where you can roll back a site to a point in time. This is good for a disaster if it's picked up on quickly, but overtime if something happens and you need to restore then you can't because you would roll back valid changes to other files.
My scenario this is fine, and worse comes to worse we can still get the files back via recycle bin or Retention Policy library. But if you want maximum and easy file recover-ability then 3rd party is the way to go.
