Sharepoint clears filter when I open a pdf

Alternatively, when the filter is enabled in the document library, you can instead right click on the file to open in app or browser. This way the filtered list remains open.
I also have this issue together with my workmates. However, we noted that when we filter our sharepoint file via the MS Teams app, the filter stays intact and doesnt reset until we tell it to. Unfortunately, in Teams, the side arrows to go to next document is not found.
