SharePoint base url changes for some users
Hi All,
We have a SharePoint site :
https://mydev.sharepoint.com/sites/Intranet
When certain users access this, on the browser the url remains the same but when few users access the same url the base url gets updated to
https://mydev.sharepoint.com.mcas.ms/sites/Intranet
Please can you let me know what could be the reason for this and what settings need to be updated for the user so they land on the same earlier url

- Thanks but I did realize that this was happening because my device was not registered as safe device and hence the Microsoft Defender would change the url to .mcas.ms
