SharePoint Audit
I have a need to perform an audit of my SharePoint. Generally, I need to know how many "real/authentic" sites I have. When I go into the SharePoint Admin Center, I see ALL SharePoint sites (most are ...

Just because a SPO site was created when someone created a Team does not make it any less "real" than a site created from any other technique.
The new SPO Admin Center shows how often a site is used and how much data it contains. There is "Least Active Sites" view that should be helpful.
The O365 Admin Center Reports section has a lot of reports showing usage
I always like to ask people what they are going to do with the data they request. What decisions are they going to make and what actions are they going to take. I frequently find that the data requested is not going to be very helpful and that they will be better served to get something else.

I understand that - I am not interested in sites that were created from a MS Team. I have the Team Admin Center for those sites. I am interested in the sites that are created when an App is used such as planner, power bi, etc.
The site usage data is not a true sense of analytics for sites created because of Apps. If a site is generated because a planner was created, then the analytics is not helpful as the site is not updated when a new task is created in the planner. Therefore, the site looks like it is inactive (no activity) and I could be removing an active planner.
I have a very specific reason for needing this data for my needed action. And, yes, it would be extremely helpful for me to be able to obtain more detailed reports.
