SharePoint Audit Logs vs Office 365 Audit logs

Question

Hi,&nbsp;Whats the difference between SharePoint Audit logs and Office 365 audit logs which we get in Security &amp; Compliance Center? Is there any event which is not captured in O365 audit logs which are there in Site Collection audit logs?Or is it so that going forward&nbsp;audit setting will be removed from Site Collection level and audit logs can be seen in Security and Compliance Center?Please comment.&nbsp;-Prashant.&nbsp;

Thanks for the response.So is it&nbsp;not at all necessary to enable audit settings at site collection level? And O365 audit logs will cover all possible events which are mentioned in site collection audit settings?
