Good Day
From a mobile perspective we have had recently users asking about the ability in having email attachments get copied directly to a SharePoint Online site using the SharePoint mobile app. The main choice is OneDrive but there are cases where documents shared as email attachments are to be shared with a large number of users and or part of an ongoing project where a SharePoint Online site fits better. Does anyone know if we would get at some point with the SharePoint mobile app in being able to leverage it for having outlooks email attachments get copied to a SharePoint Online Site? Thanks!
- If you open the attachment in the file it's for, such as excel at the bottom of the app when looking at it, you can then save a copy and save to "Sites". Would be nice to just have a SharePoint icon, or if OneDrive exposed your sites through the share window like you can access them inside the app.
Would be a good suggestion for the OneDrive uservoice.Thank you all. Will bring this up to the user voice.
- I'm not aware of an update in the SharePoint App that will allow this use case
