SharePoint Android App Issues - Site Images not Displayed

Hi,

This issue specific to the SharePoint Android app, this is not an issue with the iPhone app - this site is displayed as expected when viewed via SharePoint app on an iPhone.

 

I am using a SharePoint 2016 environment.

Images are not being rendered in the Andriod app - see attached screenshots. Images derive from multiple sources:

• The images at the top are frontawesome, these are been rendered as rectangles with the cross
• The text in the body of the site - this should display images (standard HTML img element). These are presented in a custom search display template

Note: i have added grey boxes to the image to protect privacy.
