SharePoint Alerts
Hopefully simple questions for someone to answer- we have users that set up their own alerts on demand ---- if you were to look at your list of alerts in Manage My Alerts would it be a one for one ...
Let me try to help you here:
(1) You are right, SharePoint does not provide a way to group/combine alerts on the same element so you will receive as many alerts as you have configured
(2) There is nothing you can configure in regards of time zone for alerts...they are based on the Regional settings you have in your site. So you can always review if those Regional settings are properly configured
