Sharepoint 2016 open pdf in clinet application by removing binding in office online server

we are trying to provision users to open the PDF in mobile view  using mobile pdf application.

we can't see mobileview binding for wordpdf  in office online server

is the above article still applies to SP2016 with OOS2016

    Note that these are Office Online Server capabilities, not SharePoint capabilities. As the article states OOS does not support this, the WOPI binding does not exist.
