SharePoint 2013 on premise document library Forms folder, how can I hide this from users

I have some external SharePoint sites that have a doc library for people outside the company to save/work on files. They use the Open with explorer option to open the doc library and drag and drop files etc. I have no control over there File Explorer settings so if they have the view hidden folders ticked they can see the hidden Forms folder and potentially delete items from this.

Is there a way to remove all permissions from this folder? It doesn't appear anywhere I can find on SharePoint to be able to change the settings. I can view the folder in SharePoint Designer but there doesn't seem to be a way to change permissions or use target audience settings.

What can be done to stop this folder being viewed by users when they open with explorer?

Thanks
