When you say changing display name, was the user's sAMAccountName also changed? One quick and easy thing to do is just delete their user profile from the UPSA, then perform a manual sync from AD.
Well, deleting her profile and then syncing again didn't fix the problem either. At a loss...
- Is there a value for "Feed service provider defined identifier" and/or "Personal Site Capabilities" and/or "Personal site" on this person's profile in the UPSA?
