SharePoint 2010 to 2013 migration taking long time

We are migrating 16 content databases from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013, with 4 TB data and more than 500,000 sites. The mount/upgrade process is taking long time, almost 4 days for all the content databases. Can anyone suggest, how can we make the migration process faster?
