SharePoint 2003 Optional buttons missed (new, upload, actions).
Domain user have "Contribute" rights in specific "Sites and Workspaces", the problem is that buttons are missed (new, upload, actions). If I create a new domain user I have the same problem, se attached file, probably 3 months ago this problem started. E.S.
- You probably have custom permissions on the library itself, so they need to be added to or check the library itself's permissions not just the site it lives on.

- This issue is like the "Contribute" right works as "Read only" right.
