SharePoint : How to set the default Storage limit for new sites

Until recently, you could adjust site storage limits in the SharePoint Admin Center by navigating to Settings → Site storage limits and switching from Automatic to Manual. 

However, this change only applied to sites created directly in the SharePoint Admin Center.

💡 What about sites created by users via Teams or SharePoint?

Those sites would still default to 25TB of storage.

🏆🏆🏆Now, there's a new option!

You can set default site storage limits under the Site Creation settings in the SharePoint Admin Center.
This update affects sites created through Teams, the SharePoint Home page, and SharePoint Active Sites.
