SharePoint - Metadata updates changing the document version
I have an issue where each time I update metadata, it automatically updates the version of the document however the document hasn't been changed itself. How do I stop this?
Second this. Not being able to decouple metadata editing and versions basically makes it impossible to have a flat metadata driven version controlled library. Any organizational tasks automatically bump revisions which is catastrophic to the architecture. This should really be an option at the library level and column level
