Sending notifications to review documents

Hi

We're setting up a pretty basic Sharepoint document library but the one function that I do need is to be able to have documents with a "Review Due Date" and have a notification sent to the owner of each document 30 days beforehand, 20 days, 10 days and then to show as an overdue task in red if the date doesn't change.

We're using the Communications site as opposed to Team site as these documents will be the current versions available to staff.

I've looked at flows but can't see one that will suit.  I'm used to using Sharepoint with a Document Controller tab with built in approval workflows etc but this is way more basic than that.

Thanks in advance

  • What about building your own reminder Flow? The scenario you have here is totally feasible with Flow. Change the visualization could be a little bit more trickier and you would need to explore JSON Column formatting to see if it can fit your requirements

      Hi Juan

I don't seem to have a flow template available that will let me do that, so do I need to use the Sharepoint Designer add on?
