Security Permissions for SharePoint
Hi All,
So, I'm new with SharePoint and wanted to see if anyone might now of this. I created a OneDrive account for a department. Created a security group as well. The idea is that there is going to be a folder for photo storage and the individuals in the security group need to have the ability to upload and delete/modify the photos placed in. However, I want to lock the Parent Folder from being able to be deleted. Looking at the Security Permissions I don't see anything quite what I am looking for. Any ideas?

- CFraijoCopper ContributorI would suggest using a SharePoint Document Library instead of OneDrive. With the SP Document Library you can assign the security group 'Contribute' rights to the Library, which will allow those members to add/edit/delete anything within the library, but not the ability to delete the library itself. Be careful not to confuse the 'Edit' permissions with 'Contribute', 'Edit' permissions allow for the deletion of the library.
