search within PDF's and display direct link
Hi All,
Can someone help me with this scenario:
goal : first-line workers want to lookup product information from their android tablets (kiosk)
I have a document library with PDF's , containing product information. the PDF's are multi-paged.
I would like to present the users with a "search" function where they can enter the product number (MK 124343 for example) , the result of the search should then be direct link to the right page within de PDF(s)
Is this possible with native sharepoint/teams functionality or should I look into Azure ?

with standard SharePoint search you have a fulltext search also into pdfs. You can fint content into the pdf, but the search results will not jump to the right page, where the search term will found. I am not aware of a solution, but it will certainly require development.
