Search on Extranet AAM stopped working after recent updates

Hi

We have a sharepoint environment which is used internally (Default Zone) and as extranet (Extranet Zone).

The problem is that search stopped working after recent SP updates (05/2017).

Search in the Default zone works perfect, when I browse to the Extranet zone I get the 'Sorry Something went wrong' error (there was an exception in the database) on either Query webpart or the search page.

Is anyone facing the same problem? And what can be done to solve this issue?
