Search for a text string with "

Hi everyone,

we are using 3" or 6" as a text in our office and pdf documents. Using search in SharePoint I don't get any results, when I'm searching for 3" or 6". Instead of there is a message: We couldn't find any results for 3". Is there any workaround to search for the test string with qoutes?
