- What is FP2? Has that been announced somewhere?
I think he means FP1 :)
But you'll need Dist Cache whether you want it or not, so you must go the Custom route for a 2 node farm.Trevor Seward why would we need a Dist Cache server in a Search Farm?
BTW, I bought your book and chapter 3 is awesome. I have never seen so much detail about server configuration in one place. Your explanations and rationale are very well done and will be extremely helpful when I have conversations with my clients.
