Save list as a template
Good Day:
I was looking into saving a few lists off a Communication Site as a template and noticed first that the link/option to save a list or a document library as a template was missing as choice from the site pages library. I noticed the same on a Modern Site. However it seems that we can save as a list template other lists like a generic list or a document library.
Is it an expected behavior that we are not able in saving a pages library as template and are there other lists types on a Communication Site that we cannot save as a template? Thanks!

- This is expected...basically Microsoft has hidden the option to save a list as a template in modern SPO. If you need to replicate a list on other sites and don't want to recreate it, I recommend you to take a look to PnP remote provisioning or to Site scripts and Site Designs
