Retention Labels that allow documents to be Edited
I am creating Retention Labels but finding that if I use the Retain Forever option or the Retain for x years (e.g. 25) combined with 'Nothing, leave content as is' option, I am not able to Edit docum...
Hello,
Once you apply the retention label you can't delete the document until the end of the retention period.
I would recommend using backup instead of Retention in this case. That helps you to keep all the files and changes with all the versions.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I am aware that applying retention labels means you cannot Delete a document. The issue I have is that applying the label is also preventing me from Editing the file.
