Restore file to a different location
Hi
We have delete a library and its contents. We would like to restore the files to a different location. Is this principle possible. The support sites I have found all say a file needs to be restored to the original location and for most instances this would be fine. Just wondered if there was a way round it.
- There is noway you would be able to directly restore a deleted SP library to a new or another site from SP site recycle. As simple as this, you cant take a backup of the deleted file from the recycle. its an image that has to be restore to the original location where its deleted from.
Same windows recycle bin concept :)

Thanks. I was hoping for a different answer but that makes sense. We'll recreate the libraries and restore and then move the files.
